So now that you have successfully completed Day 1 and Day 2, feeling more pumped than ever, Day 3 should be a nice smooth transition into some more weight loss manoeuvres guaranteed to kick up a sweat in 10 minutes.

Svava Sigbertsdottir, creator of The Viking Method continues with real celeb style moves to get you fit and healthy in just 30 days. Encase you don’t have weights/dumbbells to hand, for day 3 Svava has you well equipped with some cool DIY alternatives.

What are these you ask? Water bottles. Yep you read correct, either half a litre or a full one or two litre, she doesn’t care as long as you have two at hand then these water bottles are the perfect dumbbell substitute to continue building strength and tone your core.

Remember, ‘you shouldn’t be good at anything when you first start out, it should be hard’, says Svava. So that’s a bit of motivation for you.

Let’s get moving and sweat it out.

The Workout:

10 minutes, five moves, two sets.

Perform each of the five moves for 40 seconds, followed by 20 seconds rest.

  • Move #1 Squat to shoulder press
  • Move #2 Walking plank / half burpee
  • Move #3 Water bottle rotation and balancing on one leg
  • Move #4 Reverse lunge into squat
  • Move #5 Russian twist
