Have you seen the spring-summer ’17 collection from Pink Soda? Healthista writer Parisa Hashempour has given it the Kitspiration seal of approval
After the huge success of Pink Soda’s initial collection launch last year (which Healthista editor, Anna Magee loved!), the sporty trendsetters are back this spring splattering stylish pastels and khakis across the gymosphere. After spying the new Pink Soda threads at the JD Sports SS17 kit launch I have to say that I am totally on board too.
Not only is the Healthista team huge fans of this brand but celebs from Lucy Watson to Vicky Pattinson have been spotted working it (and working out) in Pink Soda crop tops and leggings. Pink Soda hails functionality alongside fashion and their latest collection is just that.
All of the fitness apparel is made using technical materials such as sweat-wicking fabric which keeps you cool and dry, mesh panels for breathability and it’s quick drying which means it’s easy to wash and dry speedily in between gym sessions.
The collection is mesh-heavy (because who doesn’t love a bit of mesh) and features slinky fitted leggings and oversized jumpers and hoodies. This is the kind of kit that you can walk straight out of the gym in and on to the street – athleisure at its finest.
I can’t get enough of this Chunky Mesh Sports Bra. Sweat-wicking fabric, mesh panels and a racer-back so not only performs well but looks super hot too.

Unitards are BIG this spring and Pink Soda has jumped head first into the trend. This unitard is made from super stretchy fabric – it’s sweat wicking (of course) and the 4-needle stitching lets you hit those tough bends and stretches without worrying about your hemline or threads pinging.
Care and material
Twice as nice as your usual workout gear (get it, because it’s reversible?), this Pink Soda sports bra is beautiful to look at – on both sides. The fabric is created to help keep you cool and dry and another racer back means you can swing your arms around and do windmills to your heart’s content.
All of the above are available to buy from JD Sports but if you haven’t had quite enough don’t panic just yet – Pink Soda is set to drop more kit just in time for summer. Here’s a little sneak preview…
