Channel your inner Eagle with today’s pose in our 30 Day Yoga Challenge with Sarah Malcolm
Welcome to day 19 of Healthista’s 30 Day Yoga Challenge, with leading London yoga teacher, Sarah Malcolm (@sarahmalcs), where you learn in detail a different pose or aspect of yoga every day.
If you’re just joining us, click here to go to day one and see below for links to the other days in the series. Today’s in-depth pose is the Eagle Pose, known in Sanskrit as Garudasana.
The next move in Healthista’s 30 Day Yoga Challenge with Sarah Malcolm is the Eagle Pose.
Following day 18’s Tree Pose, Eagle requires strength and balance to conquer this move. This pose uses much more energy than our previous poses.
Once you master Eagle, your balance will be improved and you’ll have much stronger inner thighs.

Each day you will be learning a new aspect to the practice, so in a month you will have learned the basic yoga poses in depth and participate in classes or do a proper sequence yourself.
