Q&A's

  • What will you be bringing to the Healthista Collective?

An extensive overview of how our skin behaves.  Having worked in beauty spas, and then from the other perspective in hospital dealing with skin diseases and skin surgery I can bring a wealth of knowledge into a far larger field of aesthetic dermatology.

  • One beauty hack you stick to daily?

Whenever I’m cooking, I’ll always rub some olive oil into my cuticles.  It’s so nourishing for our hands and nails so when the bottles open anyway it’s a dead easy hack to do.

  • One bit of advice you want to give to all Healthista readers?

It might sound cliche, but sun screen will drastically so slow the rate in which your skin will age as well as potentially prevent any cancerous lesions growing in later life. There are so many different facial  sun screens to suit your skin type so I would always recommend investing the time to find one that suits your skin.

  • Advice to your 20-year old self?

Being Irish skinned, young and naive, I would use sun beds before my holiday to ‘get my skin used to the sun’ and ‘build a base’.  Now I realise how dangerous sun beds.
