This week’s Kitspiration is boho fashion brand Free People with the new range, FP Movement. It’s every athleisure-lover’s dream
Free People is a brand known for its floaty skirts, chunky knits and house-on-the-prairie style bohemian fashion. Starting out as a small clothing shop in Pennsylvania in the 70s, Free People quickly grew into the alternative fashion empire that includes brands like Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie. But it isn’t just fashion pieces that Free People stocks – aside from their intimates, homeware and beauty products, the brand has a stunning exclusive in-house fitness range under the name FP Movement.
The range stays true to the cosy, hippy, vibrant aesthetic of the brand. From oversized jumpers to backless tops – this collection has a little something for everyone – I for one, am obsessed. I want to wish them straight into my wardrobe.

Who needs a boyfriend to kick about in a boyfriend hoodie? This big high neck jumper has a soft lining which supposedly makes it the perfect oversized hoodie to throw on before, during or after your next run (particular during those dewy morning runs). And not only is it great for working out in but it’s the ultimate in effortlessly chic day-to-day wear too.

FP Movement describe this onesie as taking you smoothly from studio to street. The racerback all in one is made from a soft ribbed fabric and is easy to throw on over your shorts and sports bra post workout.
An elastic band at the waist gives it an adjustable fit and fitted cuffs at the ankle mean it won’t go sagging around your fit. It’s a great piece of layering for dancers and yogis.

The fabric is sweat-wicking (a must during summer) and stylish leg cutouts make these tights the epitome of athleisure cool. A small pocked inside the waistband means you can easily store your key – essential.
Crafted from double-brushed heathered jersey, these high-rise performance leggings feature a so-soft fabric with a sweat-wicking finish to pull moisture away, keeping you cool during your toughest workouts. I’m all about seamless clothing that disappears underneath your layers which is why I’m a huge fan of this hot pink bra from FP Movement. The brand says the bra is created with comfort in mind, featuring an supportive fit and the bra also has a sliding adjustable back design.

Okay so it might not go down well in a hardcore Hiit class, but this open back top with knotted braided fabric detailing would certainly make a unique addition to any active-wear outfit. The breathable top really encompasses Free People’s boho summery vibes.
