Calling all health entrepreneurs – WIN a 3-day trip to Paris for your team

Have you got an early stage wellness start-up or business idea? Healthista is giving you the chance to win an expenses-paid three day incubation programme in Paris for two of your team

Healthista have teamed up with luxury hotel brand Pullman Hotels & Resorts to launch a new wellness entrepreneurship-focused initiative and event – Health To Wealth – to help budding start-ups bring their businesses to life.

The live event will see Healthista readers, consumers, influencers, media and businesspeople alike, come together to share and learn.

During the event, selected early-stage health businesses and ideas will be put to the test Dragon’s  Den-style before a panel of industry experts including BBC Dragon – and Healthista investor – Touker Suleyman.

Pitching competition for early stage health start ups

We are inviting applications from wellbeing entrepreneurs dedicated to turning their wellness passion into profit and from wellness-based early stage start-ups, for a chance to win an incredible business growth opportunity.

You can enter your business now to be in with a chance to pitch at the Health To Wealth event. The deadline for entries is May 17th and you can find the entry guidelines below.

What you could win for your healthy business

Health to Wealth applications will be whittled down to five candidates who will then be asked to present their businesses to the panel and 200-strong audience of influencers, key media, business leaders and consumers at the event.

The panel and audience will decide on a winning business who will receive:

  • A 3-day trip to Accor Hotels’ HQ in Paris, where their brand will be incubated by experts in order to push their businesses to the next level, including flights and accommodation for two team members.
  • Access to the panel of entrepreneurs and investors for help and advice
  • A write up about their brand’s story on Healthista.com
  • Mentoring by Anni Hood, co-founder and chief executive at Well Intelligence – a research, insights and market evidence platform aimed at helping wellbeing businesses grow.

How to apply to pitch your business

We’re inviting applications from early stage health businesses to enter our Health To Wealth competition. Five finalists will have a chance to pitch at the Health To Wealth event on June 13th.

Applications are open to health and wellness-focused businesses in their very early stages, that is, those with only a business plan as well as those trading for up to three years.

We want to hear from businesses in all wellness and health sectors including tech, healthcare, medical, nutrition, food or diet, media, fitness, yoga, self-care, beauty, sex and relationships and mental health or psychology.

Applicants, all you have to do is  answer the following questions on a word document and send your application to healthtowealth@healthista.com by 11pm on May 17th, 2019.  You may attach relevant imagery or additional information you wish.

On the night, successful entrepreneurs from all areas of wellness including nutrition, fitness, and fashion will take part in a panel discussion focused on sharing their experience, tips and tricks for starting and growing a business in the wellness space.

This will be followed by a Dragon’s Den-style format, inviting up-and-coming wellness entrepreneurs to pitch for support to further the success of their own businesses.
