Welcome to day 20 of the NEW Healthista 30 day Abs challenge with founder of hot gym Gymclass, Helle Hammonds
The Healthista challenge has returned and so has Helle Hammonds from GYMCLASS, with 30 days of five-minute abdominal workouts. Helle has created a different workout for each day consisting of two strength moves and one fat burner, these are performed back to back and all movements last 30 seconds. Each day provides beginner and advanced options to provide a challenge for everyone.
DAY 20 ABS CHALLENGE WORKOUT
- Up and down plank into combo move side plank arm up one side – Start in plank position on mat. Lift your body up into push up position one arm at a time. Turn to one side and extend arm up, while other arm remains held out holding you up. Repeat on each side for 30 seconds.
- Water bottle in and out – Sit on mat with legs out in front and arms at your sides supporting you. Recline back slightly and lift legs off of the floor. Begin pulling legs in towards your stomach, while clenching your ab muscles. Place a water bottle or weight between feet for more of a challenge. Repeat for 30 seconds.
- One half burpee / One full burpee – Start standing up. Move into squat position with your hands on the ground. Kick legs back into push up position. Move legs back towards arms and jump with arms above your head. Repeat same for full burpee, but drop down so your stomach is on the ground. Repeat for 30 seconds.
Repeat two more times.
