Welcome to day two of the Healthista 30 day Abs challenge with founder of hot gym Gymclass, Helle Hammonds
The Healthista challenge has returned and so has Helle Hammonds from GYMCLASS, with 30 days of five-minute abdominal workouts. Helle has created a different workout for each day consisting of two strength moves and one fat burner, these are performed back to back and all movements last 30 seconds. Each day provides beginner and advanced options to provide a challenge for everyone.
DAY TWO WORKOUT
- In and outs – Start with your bum sat on the floor and hands either side of you and behind your back on the floor to help your balance. Bend your legs so that your knees are in the air and feet off the ground with your body in a v-shape, from here you will begin the move by extending your legs out and lowering your torso towards the floor, then bringing your legs back in to your chest with your torso returning to the original v-shape. Repeat for 30 seconds.
- Plank pike – Start in a plank position, raising your hips up high to create a pike. Here you will pivot your hips down one side close to the ground, then returning the hips back up and repeating on the other side. Repeat for 30 seconds.
- Star jumps – Standing up right begin to jump while widening the legs and arms to create a star shape. Repeat for 30 seconds.
Repeat two more times.
