Viola Davis

WINNER: Actress in a Leading Role – How to Get Away with Murder

67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards - Press Room

Who’d believe that this incredibly fit-looking American actress turned 50 last month? During an interview with People the actress revealed that for her role as Susie Brown for the movie ‘Get on Up’ released in 2014, she was on Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine Diet. Does the word ‘diet’ brings you thoughts of a continuously rumbling stomach and never-ending fight with yourself against cravings for your favorite foods? Forget it. The Wolverine Diet allows you to eat as many calories as you want… with just one ‘but’. You have to eat for only eight hours a day and for other sixteen you strictly commit to fasting.

Hugh Jackman told Variety magazine that this diet worked for him too: ‘I have done it for at least two years. I’m finished and I don’t need to be on any diet but I’m still doing it’, he said.

On the other hand, Viola Davis doesn’t try to fit into ‘perfect’ body measurements. After her battle with stress-related disease alopecia areata (also known as spot baldness) the actress said she’s learned to love herself the way she is. In an interview with Vulture she said: ‘I have spent so much of my life not feeling comfortable in my skin. I am just so not there anymore’.
