30 Days Abs challenge – Day 18

Welcome to day 18 of the NEW Healthista 30 day Abs challenge with founder of hot gym Gymclass, Helle Hammonds

The Healthista challenge has returned and so has Helle Hammonds from GYMCLASS, with 30 days of five-minute abdominal workouts. Helle has created a different workout for each day consisting of two strength moves and one fat burner, these are performed back to back and all movements last 30 seconds. Each day provides beginner and advanced options to provide a challenge for everyone.

 

 

DAY 18  ABS CHALLENGE WORKOUT

  • Scissor x4 Kick x4 laying down – Lay on your back with legs flat in front of you. Begin regular kicks by alternating right and left leg up in line with hip and back down four times. Immediately, alternate right and left leg side to side over and under the other. Make sure back remains flat against mat. Repeat for 30 seconds.

 

  • Weighted overhead shoulder – Stand up with legs slightly further than shoulder-width apart. Start with weight above head and begin bending over so weight moves down to the floor, bending at your core. Bring weight back up above head. Repeat for 30 seconds.

 

  • Squat split split – Stand up with hands together. Begin jumping down into a squat, making sure to lower hips.  Immediately jump into alternating split squat on each leg. For lower impact, step in between rather than jump. Repeat for 30 seconds.

Repeat 2 more times.
