Welcome to day 17 of the NEW Healthista 30 day Abs challenge with founder of hot gym Gymclass, Helle Hammonds
The Healthista challenge has returned and so has Helle Hammonds from GYMCLASS, with 30 days of five-minute abdominal workouts. Helle has created a different workout for each day consisting of two strength moves and one fat burner, these are performed back to back and all movements last 30 seconds. Each day provides beginner and advanced options to provide a challenge for everyone.
DAY 17 WORKOUT
- One leg bottle reach out – Begin standing straight up, with a water bottle or dumbbell in each hand. Alternately kick each leg forward, and meet the water bottle in your hand to your opposite foot. Repeat on the other side. Squeeze abs each time you kick. Repeat for 30 seconds.
- Overhead sit-up press – Lay flat on your back with water bottles in hand over your head. Sit-up and push your hands above your head, and then punch straight in front of you. Lay back down, and repeat for 30 seconds.
- Switch kick – Begin standing with water bottles, or weights, held against your shoulders. Position leg into a back lunge before coming back up and kicking leg forward. Make sure kick is in line with your hips. Alternate each leg. Repeat for 30 seconds.
Repeat 2 more times.
