Move over face serums and beauty creams, face yoga is in the spotlight for it’s anti-ageing benefits. In fact, recent studies by JAMA Dermatology have shown that after 20 weeks of daily face yoga practice, participants looked up to three years younger.
Face yoga expert Danielle Collins has created a 12-part series of face yoga sequences that cover all the different areas of the face and neck with each sequence being just 60 seconds long.
This sequence uses techniques to help lift and firm the neck underneath the jaw by strengthening and toning muscles in this area. Start by placing your fingers on the collarbone. Gently tilt your head back and bring your tongue up to the roof of your mouth repeatedly. Here we will start to tighten the neck area and prevent the underneath the chin and neck sagging.
