The Tribe Sports community talked, and the company listened. Tribe Sports’s new kit comes from crowd sourcing their social community, and creating sportswear at a lower price with all the functionality of top-notch, designer kit.
Kags Renny, merchandise manager of Tribe Sports, told Healthista that the company started as a social platform for sports people to discuss and track all of their sports. The Tribe Sports community frequently talked about the kit they wore — what they liked about it, and what they didn’t — and the company decided to take that information and crowd source to create a clothes line to satisfy the sportspeople.
Since Tribe Sports doesn’t use marketing campaigns or have retail stores, and it relies on its customers for advertising, the company is able to produce quality products at a lower price.
