Anti-ageing face yoga to add a glow to your eye area in 60 seconds

Healthista has teamed up with face yoga expert, Danielle Collins, for a series of 60 second video tutorials to help lift, smooth, de-puff and add a glow to your face and neck

Move over face serums and beauty creams, face yoga is in the spotlight for it’s anti-ageing abilities, recent studies by JAMA Dermatology have shown that after 20 weeks of daily face yoga practice, participants looked up to three years younger.

To help you get started, face yoga expert Danielle Collins has created a 12-part series of face yoga sequences that cover all the different areas of the face and neck, plus each sequence is just 60 seconds long, handy for anyone juggling a busy lifestyle.

This 60 second sequence uses techniques to help the eye area glow by retraining the face to use the eyes more than the forehead. Using our forehead when we change our expressions can lead to lines and wrinkles and our eyes looking dull and tired. Here we are trying to reverse this and add a glow and sparkle to our eyes.
