As part of Rick Hay’s 12 week anti-ageing fitness plan, he shows you how to make a super fast a tofu, vegetable and brown rice stir fry for dinner
Here are Rick’s tips:
This dinner can be made in under 3 minutes, and includes spicy tofu, pre-cut vegetables and pre-cooked and packed brown rice. The meal also includes fat-burning thermogenic spices, such as paprika and black pepper. These spices speed up the metabolism and help to burn fat, while also adding loads of flavor (but without the added calories). The meal is nutrient and fiber dense, and also contains healthy enzymes essential to slow down the ageing process and help with weight management.
The thermogenic spices help to metabolize fat and the vegetables with provide you with your 2 of 5 a day.
1 tbs of olive oil
1 cup of pre-cut spicy tofu
1 cup (or however much desired) of pre-packaged vegetables, like broccoli, cabbage, onions and spinach
1 cup of pre-cooked brown rice
Liquid Amino Acids
Pre-heat the pan and add a generate amount of olive oil. The olive oil will soak into the vegetables for some extra essential fatty acids. Add a cup or two of pre-packaged vegetables, the cup of spicy tofu and a cup of brown rice. Stir and let the ingredients cook in the pan. Keep the vegetables just slightly crisp by adding a few fingerfuls of paprika and black pepper. Add a bit of liquid amino acids, rich in minerals, as an alternative to soy sauce. Mix up the ingredients after adding the amino acids and pour ingredients into a bowl, or on a plate. If desired, add some italian herbs before eating.
