Today is National Chocolate Cake Day and here at Healthista, we are celebrating with an assortment of goodies from the brilliant Lola’s Cupcakes
With 75 percent of the Healthista team being vegan, we are absolutely in love with Lola’s Cupcakes. Once we heard that today was National Chocolate Cake Day, I immediately set out to grab some chocolate goodies from Lola’s Cupcakes (our editor Anna’s favourite cakes ever) located in Marylebone Station.
Lola’s Cupcakes has various stands and shops throughout London and at various Tube and railway stations (see the Lola website for where). With all of their cupcakes being fresh and handcrafted they are a delectable treat that anyone, vegan or not, can enjoy. Along with being fresh many of Lola’s Cupcakes are vegan, gluten-free and sugar-free which is perfect for our office where we are constantly switching up our diets.

Lola’s Cupcakes was founded over ten years ago in 2006 by two friends, Victoria Jessel and Romy Lewis, who turned their love of baking into a booming business. Both have since moved on from the stores but Lola’s Cupcakes is still going and growing. Lola’s Cupcakes has 22 stands and stores scattered throughout London. No matter where you are going you will be able to calm your inner sweet tooth.
With everything from cupcakes, cakes and even cheesecakes, it doesn’t matter if you are looking for a birthday cake or just a weekday pick me up Lola’s Cupcakes will do the trick. Their cupcakes are everything including inventive and gourmet. Next time you see it in the tube station stop by, grab a treat and savor the deliciousness before conquering the rest of the day.
