We have included Bioglan’s ‘Energy Boost’, in our smoothie which is formulated with four of the best superfoods to help you maintain energy, Maca Powder, Lucuma, Cacao and Hemp Protein.

Maca Powder contains the antioxidant copper, and is particularly good for those with anemia and chronic fatigue syndrome.
Lucuma adds iron to the normal oxygen transport in the body
Cacao not only tastes amazing but is also a great source of magnesium.
Hemp Protein: Adds a protein to the mix, it provides vitamin B3 and can help reduce fatigue.

Ingredients:

1 Handful of Spinach
1 Banana
1 pear
1 tsp of Bioglan’s ‘Energy Boost’ Superfood Powder (optional)
Top with a sprinkling of The Superfoodies, ‘Green Granola’ (optional)
½ cup of Coconut Milk

Directions:

Blend the spinach and the superfood ‘Bioglan’ powder with the coconut milk first. Next add the fruit and whizz again, blending the fruit after the vegetables keeps the sweetness in the smoothie and hides the taste of the vegetables for those with a sweet tooth.
