How food based supplements are improving my gut health + giving my brain a boost
As I move towards food based supplements I have seen a significant improvement in my gut health and radical cognitive improvement.
My two favourites include Indi supplements and newly launched prebiotic NEWROAD 30 which has been meticulously formulated by husband and wife team Catherine Hurley Arbibe and Alain Arbibe and could just be the most aesthetically pleasing supplement on my shelf. With sustainable and organic status I know I am in good hands. Food state supplements will become the norm but right now they are rarer to find but worth investing in.
NEWROAD 30 provides a delicious way to elevate your gut health. Giving you your 30 plants a week (science is pointing to this being the magic number to achieve good gut health) this delicious purple powder contains 30 organic fruits, vegetables, and pulses, designed to support gut health and overall wellness. Each ingredient has been selected for its high fibre, prebiotic, and polyphenol content- key elements for a flourishing gut microbiome. NEWROAD 30 is easy to add into your daily routine- just scoop it into smoothies, stir it into your breakfast, or mix it with water (hot or cold) for a quick, nutritious boost. I tend to take it at 4pm as it curbs my sugar and carb cravings.

INDI MIND is something I take for a brain boost.
Indi have been a favourite for mine for a few years now, I especially like Indi Mind. It’s chocolatey and smooth and contains a potent blend of natural nootropics, known as ‘smart drugs’. These include Guarana, Bacopa Monnieri, L-tyrosine and Rhodiola Root. As i went into mid life i had to ditch the coffee and Indi Mind helps me feel more alert and energised throughout the day without disrupting my sleep.
Indi Mind offers an alternative, long lasting and natural daily stimulant. Guarana gets to work to provide slow-release caffeine for sustained concentration; proven to work within 15 minutes and lasting for up to 4 hours. Knowing how much caffeine is in your coffee can also fluctuate dramatically, with an average cup containing 95 mg of caffeine but with some drinks reaching over 500 mg. This plant-based supplement will boost cognitive function and is designed to tackle fatigue, focus the mind and banish brain fog. It’s hard-working ingredients also have long-term benefits proven to combat neurodegenerative decline particularly with regards to memory and reducing the risk of developing dementia and Alzheimer’s. A big tick from me.
