30 Day Abs Challenge – Day 3

Welcome to day three of the NEW Healthista 30 day Abs challenge with founder of hot gym Gymclass, Helle Hammonds

The Healthista challenge has returned and so has Helle Hammonds from GYMCLASS, with 30 days of five-minute abdominal workouts throughout January.

Helle has created a different workout for each day consisting of two strength moves and one fat burner, these are performed back to back and all movements last 30 seconds.

Each day provides beginner and advanced options to provide a challenge for everyone.

DAY THREE WORKOUT

  • Crawl with shoulder tap – Begin standing, bend over to touch the floor with your hands and crawl out to a plank position. Tap shoulder with opposite hand, repeat on the alternative side until 4 taps have been completed. Return to your standing position by crawling again. Repeat this for 30 seconds.

 

  • Cycle crunches – In a sit-up position begin by performing a crunch while bringing just one knee to the chest. Repeat on the other side to perform a bicycle motion with your legs. Repeat for 30 seconds.

 

  • Criss cross shooter – Begin standing with feet shoulder width apart. Jump into the air and land with one foot crossed over the other, jumping again to return to the original stance, jumping again to the other foot now crossed over the other and then returning to the original stance by jumping. Squat down and touch the floor and then shooting up to perform another jump. Repeat for 30 seconds.

Repeat two more times.
