The best vibrators ever is a hell of an accolade but we think we might have come close with Ann Summers new Moregasm range, says Alexandra Petra who’s a complete convert to these two little wonders
My husband goes away quite a bit and as a healthy hot-blooded woman, I can’t be blamed for having an interesting box of goodies I keep under the bed. Those lonely Sunday afternoons and evenings at home aren’t going to pass themselves so I’m no stranger to the pleasures of quality time spent alone with vibrating silicone.

But the new Moregasm collection from Ann Summers took me completely by surprise. The tech bit is that it uses expert-developed Climax Technology which generates low frequency sound waves, meant to prolong and strengthen your orgasm by sending vibrations deeper into the body, reaching 15,000 nerve endings. It kind of sounded far-fetched.
Then I tried it.
I started with the Moregasm G Spot Vibrator (£55), equipped with six vibration settings to ‘ensure a maximum orgasmic experience,’ and three speed settings. The curve and length were perfectly positioned for me and the vibrations were different to other vibrators. I always measure my orgasms by their toe-curling, goose-bump inducing factor and this had both. I love the way you can play with the speed and can also set intervals – though I prefer it moderate and continuous which build up to this OMG crescendo.
Anyway, then I tested the Moregasm Rampant Rabbit Ears (£45), a clitoral stimulator that uses the same six settings to further improve your orgasm. I loved how pointy the ends were, which mean it was so precise it got right to the spot and gave me a long satisfying orgasm.
But then, wait for it. I tried them together.
Oh My God doesn’t begin to describe the result. The ongoing waves of blind release and pleasure these babies delivered when used as a duo (a degree of ambidexterity is required but you’ll get used to it once you feel the results) is hard to describe. I honestly thought perhaps the neighbours thought I was being murdered I screamed so loudly! At the end I was panting and in tears – which doesn’t happen to me often except after the most mind-blowing orgasms. Wow. Just wow.

So here’s the thing. A lot of vibrators vibrate. But there’s something about the way these vibrate that seems to curse through your entire body, way past ‘ground zero’ right into your extremities – arms, legs, toes, torso. I could feel this orgasm everywhere AND it went on and on and on and could keep coming back. I was able to climax five times in the space of about an hour and a half, then the ears ran out of power and I’d exhausted myself too! Thankfully, they’re both rechargeable and don’t require batteries.
Now, the trouble is, so many new vibrators are always coming into the office for us to tryout but I am hooked on my two favourites. Indeed, Ann Summers have just released a whole new range called the Moregasm Move, which I am hopefully going to try this weekend (yep, he’s away for Valentine’s Day 🙁 – no doubt they will keep me warm in the absence of my man’s hot bod…). But seriously, when it comes to products of any kind I am fussy about everything and don’t recommend things lightly or often.
